Setting up practice data sync with Open Dental

For Open Dental customers that are setting up TeamCare for the first time, the process is quick and simple. You may follow steps below and/or reference Open Dental documentation article for API Setup.

Within your Open Dental PMS, navigate to the Main Menu, click Setup, Advanced Setup, API.

You will see a menu similar to this:

1. Check "enabled"
2. Add Key: Click to add a new API key (TeamCare will provide you with this key)

That's it!  Once synchronization has begun, you will receive notification and our team will reach out to you with onboarding instructions.
