As handling lab cases is essential for just about every dental offices, most practices has an existing system in place.  But most of those systems, including the PMS stock options, leave much to desire.  TeamCare's Lab Cases tracker handles all of the core functions that you'd expect and additionally provides a few distinctive conveniences:

  1. Easy searching - lab cases can be highly filterable, such as by provider, date, status, created by.  All of these parts can be used to generate reporting.
  2. Update status through aftercare - every time a patient comes through the office, the Assistant will be prompted to update the status of any cases active cases for the patient.   
  3. Appointments that break -  when a lab case gets created, it's assigned to a future scheduled appointment.  If & when the appointment is broken, TeamCare identifies it for follow-up.
  4. Check-in & cost allocation - at the time a case is received it prompts the user to enter the cost of the case and to optionally upload the lab slip.  If the providing doctor has a wage assignment where they are obligated to pay a percentage of their labs, these calculations will be directly routed to payroll calculator.
  5. Remakes - as a case is attempted delivery, it is assigned whether the case was completed or was required for a remake.  Record keeping and reporting is available to track the number of remakes specific to each provider.
