Read before: What is aftercare? What is a day sheet?

  • Future Hygiene Appointment - ie., pre-appointment (notethe importance of pre-appointment)
  • Future Doctor Appointment - ie., Treatment Plan or case presentation / acceptance 

Step 1: View each Provider's Appointments and Exams

Find active Day Sheet and select the drop down arrow beside the doctor. Then select either "Appointments" or "Exams" to view the patients that have pending aftercare.

Step 2: Claim Aftercare

A list of patients seen by the selected doctor will appear. Tap "Claim Aftercare" to take ownership of the patient's checkout steps.

Step 3: Completing the pre-appointment form

Select "New Preappointment" and complete the form.  A list of future scheduled appointments for the patient will display if present.  If not preappointed, staff will be obligated to write a note for reason.

Step 4: Completing treatment planning form

This form indicates whether the doctor presented treatment to the patient.

Complete this form by entering

  • The person that presented the treatment
  • The title of the treatment
  • The cost for patient and insurance the treatment requires
  • A pdf or jpg of the document that shows treatment was presented

Email Report

After a Day Sheet is completed, TeamCare generates a report that is emailed to:

  • Recipients: Owners, Restorative Management Team, and the Doctor.
